Re: The Formula One Thread

Yes well I'm only saying it because it is as it is, I actually did fell asleep.
With Schumi the races were different to me, either because he was that outstanding good or he had to fight himself through the grid because of some mistake. Button is just Button.

Re: The Formula One Thread

One beer too many at lunch time perhaps?

The Ferrari engine seems to work pretty well for Red Bull though and they're very much in the hunt.

Button's given name Is JENSON a pretty famous make of car dad must have had a desire to give him a automobile connection devilish maybe dad had a Jenson???
Glad my dad didnt have any thoughts in that direction as he rode Motorcycles I could have been christened Ariel ,Velocette or Birmingham Small Arms (BSA). devilish I suppose Vincent would have been acceptable tho cool

Re: The Formula One Thread

Well my first motorbike was a Calthorpe. That could have been a rather classy name.

creme de la creme
The Ivory Calthorpe, have not owned one but have ridden such a machine .
It all fits " Ivory White " hehehe.................. devilish
Even Calthorpe sounds acceptable .
much preferable to "James" or "Dot" ( Devoid of Trouble)
"Jap" Aka JA Prestwich

Re: The Formula One Thread

It doesn't look like a compromise at the moment with Mosley threatening legal action and clearly FOTA have felt sidelined in the past and now want to show their muscle.

If they can get a programme together I have the feeling that sponsorship money will follow them and, perhaps, we will have more racing in the traditional tracks rather than finding new and largely empty tracks in odd parts of the world. It might even save Silverstone.

We live in interesting times!
