I think this would make a great slogan for the WorldCommunityGrid

I think that the quote is OK but may imply that there is only one superior being called God. Obviously, there are many people here on WCG who are not Christian.

ok I guess, but I'd prefer one more like "WCG, helping the entire world work together peacefully towards our common future" or some such idealistic platitude

I feel a slogan for the grid should be short and to the point containing no references to anything that may cause division in its members.

Here's my slogan contribution:

World Community Grid, computing together for humankind!

Does it get across what we are doing here?

I like ripcat's idea, however, instead for humankind, I personally like it as mankind... it's 1 syllable shorter... wink

Graham, using 'humanity' instead of 'humankind' works for me! smile

stares, 'computing' rather than 'crunching' would put the message across to people not familiar with what we are doing much better I think.

World Community Grid, computing together for the future of humanity!

See what we can accomplish when we work together! Now lets get the WCG techs to dump 'technology solving problems' and replace it with 'computing together for the future of humanity' biggrin
