It is definitely taking longer then it should - but I'm watching the logs and it is definitely making progress. I will have to do some work to figure out why it is taking so long.

I understand those are an annual occurrance these days. not like this..... IBM Global Serivices has begun massive layoffs in a quiet manner, starting with 1300 employees, but by the end of the year, the total will rise to at least 100,000 and probably closer to 150,000 employees, nearly 40% of their U.S. workforce. |

I really doubt that that will happen. However, there are lots of people at IBM who are older than 55 and they will be leaving one of these days anyway. But this is an issue at all companies as the babyboomers in the USA head into the sunset.
