Re: All work 'Aborted by Project'

I was so close to hitting a million points today too!!! Those wu's would have done it. Oh well, I'll have to keep on crunchin and find a few more computers somewhere to help me make up the lost time!

Re: All work 'Aborted by Project'

Yep, I've just found one of my machines has aborted all 15 FAAH units.

I have now downloaded new work on this machine along with several others, and I notice many have a 1 day time limit which indicates to me the servers have received alot of aborted/invalid work and are re-sending.

Re: All work 'Aborted by Project'

Kevin - since this aborting of work, I am now unable to get my 2 days of work I specify - I suspect the server is limiting me due to those recent aborts.

Can you manually bump me back up please?

Re: All work 'Aborted by Project'

Adywebb, very probably if you start returning 'error'less work the back fill starts again, lest you are in a rush to get stocked up again. Get a few of those quick GC's and the gauge should open up wide.

Work was upped to 50 per core per day knreed wrote elsewhere on the fora.

cheers

Re: All work 'Aborted by Project'

I appreciate all that Sek - but i would like to get my 2 days cache back up, especially as the error was not at my end wink

There seems to be quite a few others having trouble getting work now since the 'aborted by project' problem with the server.

Re: All work 'Aborted by Project'

I have bumped all computers who have contacted the server in the past 24 hours that were limited to less then 30 results a day a bump up to 30. This should fill your queues.

Re: All work 'Aborted by Project'

Thanks Kevin - is that 30 WU per core? as the 8 core clovers do over 50 a day.
