Stick a folding gpu in your rig and you can't hear your psu anyway tongue

My Seasonics/Corsairs have fans and ARE silent biggrin



Only if it's Air Cooled.

Maybe if I ever buy a place with a garage...


I don't blow any of them out IN the garage, I do it outside so the dust doesn't mess up anything.
A vacuum cleaner gets a lot of the dust out, but with my extended blower attachment on the air compressor, I can put it between the blades of the p/s and get the dust out of the inside of it more efficently than just making the fan spin faster.
On the CPU heatsink, I blow from the side to get all the crud out of the fins.
I also blow off the fans with reduced pressure to keep from blowing the blades off (been there, done that).

My NIC runs:
Kernel 2.6.16 (customized by mfg)
400mhz PowerPC Core
64MB RAM
16MB flash (+usb 2.0 flash storage)

I've got about 70 computers running nonstop.

Turning them off every night might be difficult.

NIC= Network Interface Card
Hmmm, I haven't seen one with it's own CPU/RAM.
