Hey oneguy.... why can't I come to the Dentist's Barb-Q?  Folks from Indiana like barb-Q too.  Ya know, with all the corn we grow here we feed a lot of your Sunday afternoon cookouts.  Been a way for a while, but thought I should just note that Iowa has a little corn too. We have more room because we don't have all thoes big towns and professional sports complexes. Yep, we have corn and dirt tracks and one speedway...and more corn. Ohhh! and pigs, lots of pigs. Can I come if I bring a whole hog!?  |

I would have brought pie, but there is no way I'm getting pie in this new team.

Hi all, I just got back on the grid a couple weeks ago and started lurking the forums.
The Iowa discussion finally pushed me over the ledge to post. I'm an Iowan too. And it is true, we have lots and lots of corn, soy beans, hogs, and you wouldn't guess it, chickens. Olivia, my oldest boy is 2 1/2 years old. He is quite the character. I've got a second boy (1 year) and one on the way. My often ignored blog, wanat.net, has a link to some pictures. Oh and.... I've got some pie!!!   I doubt we will ever see me with the biggest slice again, I'm not trying to be selfish. What is important is that more progress has been made. |

My brother-in-law and his family live in Bentonsport, Iowa. They own a bed and breakfast Inn there.
