Folks from Indiana like barb-Q too. Ya know, with all the corn we grow here we feed a lot of your Sunday afternoon cookouts. Hope you all had a great Sunday! |

I just check, I had twp other machines not working
Must have had some power problem. I am wondering is I made Boinc a service would be better. I am using Win 2000 Pro and one Vista. Vista came with the free machine and I do not really like it. Maybe I should change to an other system No Pie for me today ![]() |

Hi LarryC I run all of mine as services on XP Pro and Win2K3. That way if the PC Reboots (or gets taken out by a v sensitive circuit breaker and you enable the auto power on in the bios) and you are not logged in they keep a crunching.
----------------------------------------More WU's get crunched that way Dave ![]() |

More WU's get crunched that way Dave I got them in the startup folder and most of the time they restart, but I have heard of putting them as a service, but did not know what would be better. So, it would crunch better as a service? For some reason the machines that went down had a problem rebooting and had to do a reboot. |

Hope you all had a great Sunday! Hi Marcelle You and I will get an invite soon. We will; we just have to wait longer to age more I guess. Actually Marcelle, Dave was humoring me about joining forces so we wouldn't get Barbied by another Hot Rod named pizzicatoiv. Nice of Dave. Times are better now and it looks like it will be from others! You and Dave might stand a chance now that The Dentist is coming! I'm so far behind that you guys should join up and run for it now! It will not be to long before I'm in the radar whereas you Two might have a chance together. Remember; these Rockets haven't got all their Gear going yet! By the way I prefer a nice Smokey Hot BBQ-sauce on my Ribs |

I'm not much into the HOT side of BBQ. If I have to sweat or cry to eat something then it's not worth eating!!!
How can you enjoy the flavor it your holding back the red face. Hey maybe a cross ocean team partnership might work. Actually, I've got another 4 PCs off for the past few months. Trying to save some $ on the electric bill. Maybe if I get pressed hard enough.... ![]() Have a good night. |

Morning Folks
----------------------------------------We always do well on a Sunday LOL it's BBQ time. Marcelle, Robby this thing I have been working on for the last 8 weeks that I'm not allowed to talk about in the forum will, if I can get some customers , need unfortunately loads of Windows Servers with at the very least a nice P4 in each of them all running on someone elses leccy bill. Now we all know what a Win2K3 server gets fitted immediately after the Microsoft Patches and Service Packs don't we Then and only then do you add the MySQL and Coldfusion ![]() ![]() |
