Typo, typo, typo... Where's the edit button? That's 3. The pencil next to the topic that has the invisible word 'edit' behind it (and don't even go there commenting on that.... many went before you finding it intuitively :O) ... looks like you will need to visit the reprogramming thread too... the member sorting does work (in firefox) and the little icon next to the last poster in the Recent thread list does jump you to the last page/post  There is actually an abbreviation, acronyms and mnemonics post in the Start Here forum listing many. Some of yours have not made it there, i.e. you will have to write them out in full. and now, it's time for Saturday night life..... yes it's subtitled in Italian, Tomorrow is another day as the shell shock wears a little bit more....

So I guess the answer is "Sorry Deb, this forum doesn't have a "one glance" Daily Topics hack/mod." No, we have no reason to apologise for things we don't have like a (new speak) Recent Post list that shows first few lines of each recent post in last 25 hours. Helps to prevent irritation should an obnoxious spam post accidentally catching the eye - if ever they should make it, and with which you did spend 50% of your grid.org forum time, .... kid protective so to speak

You have to get used to it. Someone mentioned that it does not have Daily Topics. It has Recent Threads instead. I don't miss avatars at all. Have you noted that the address begins https and not just http? IE 7.0 sometimes asks me if I want to display insecure items. I suppose those are some of the image links. (I haven't checked to see.)
