One thing I want to add, to make sure your cpu stays in good order, make sure dust doesn't get on it, it makes more heat because not as much air circulation, and make sure it gets proper cooling, as in it gets cooled enough that it won't have problems. smile

Madix, you don't have anything to worry about. A CPU doesen't burn because of computing. The cause is either bad cooling or bad voltage. Nevertheless, my laptop is somewhat an internal server for the company, with an uptime of about 3 weeks, so crunching numbers is all that it does. It seems to me that working during the night as well as during the day will only keep it in good shape :)


Oh, ok, well maybe thats the problem. I used my laptop for EVERYTHING. Played a lot of games on it, downloaded a lot on it... Well, I just said what I thought. Maybe its not right, but yeah. Srry for posting in your thread then cool
