I have a BOINC agent working good on a windows platform. I am trying to add a freeBSD (6.2) agent to my wcg account and include it under my profile. I have installed the port sucessfully and attached the project with the correct info with no success. Where can i start troubleshooting?

How does it fail?
Give us some more information, and we may be able to solve this for you.... What messages are logged? |

When I run boinc_cmd --get_state i get nrpc_failures and the project info at the top does not fill in. I created an account for seti as a test and all works well there.

Can you use BOINC Manager? It's a lot easier....
Please will you paste the actual output? It will be much more useful. As Sekerob is fond of saying: my crystal ball is a little cloudy today. |

This is installed on some older hardware so a gui interface is not an option.

Okay, lets get detailed.
What version of BOINC are you running? Please will you detach from WCG, then reattach and paste the messages here? Thanks. |

BOINC logs lots and lots of information.
I need that information if you want any useful help out of me. Maybe you've got it redirected somewhere? |
