Please think about this:
1. Make а proper translation of a program and of site. This is very important. (We have many translators in teams. And many non-english speaking people can not understand the idea and anything at all. So the program is very difficult to advertise.) 2. Make registration in program. (To let people register not at website only. For example if i download program, i start it, i register and i become automatically registered at the site.) 3. Make more settings for user's profiles, CPU throttle, etc in program. (Options that may be changed only at website should be changed directly from program too. May be some insignificant options should be stored in "advanced options".) 4. Make feature "Statistics" in program. (Let people see their statistics and statistics of projects right in program. For example when they push the button program download statistics from your site.) 5. Make the program "all-in-one". (Let people have all features in one box. Just "Download-and-start".) 6. Make support for all CPU features. (Multi-core, 64bit etc.) 7. Please try to make more advertisements. (Everyone should know that can help.) Thank you. |

Nearly all your requests are met by chosing the BOINC agent.
The rest, World Community Grid is working on :-) And if you want an advert, check this out... http://www.ibm.com/podcasts/howitworks/021307...s/leadspace/all/gridflash |

If you use the United Devices agent you see your statistics increase almost immediately after you finish the work unit. With BOINC you must wait 2 to 4 days for the work unit to be validated. Then you will see your stats increase. How long did you wait?
----------------------------------------Sometimes validation takes 1 week or more. Read this article for more information about validation. It also explains how you can track the progress of your work units and the quorum while you wait for validation. Although you must wait longer with BOINC, I think you will like BOINC better. The BOINC statistics line graph per project only show those credits that were earned and awarded after quorum, which can take a week or longer sometimes, but on average 3-4 days. On each project communication, BOINC gets the latest cumulative, thus providing an image like this, and can be seen 24/7 opposed to the website stats. Multiply these credits by 7 and you get the points u see on My Grid, which add to the UD agent work for the combined score. The BOINC interface has many languages to choose from. Many entries in the message log will be in the language of choice.

Thanx a lot. But whrn i movedto BOINC i saw zeros at my statistics. So i gave up. Yup. The local BOINC clients only shows the total points earned with the BOINC client. UD works the same way since the points values per work unit and how they are awarded are different for both clients. The WCG site shows the total earned for both clients in your Accumulated Points. BOINC points for completed work units typically get awarded after several days (i.e. 3-5). |

I was recently out of town for 10 days. I sent a lot of workunits and turned off the computers before I left.
----------------------------------------When I came back, I noticed that I got some points for most days that I was gone. It also takes awhile to build up the point count for each day after I return, because of the delay. 02/26/2007 0:003:06:43:16 7,247 63 02/25/2007 0:003:15:03:22 6,085 50 02/24/2007 0:002:19:21:16 4,220 33 02/23/2007 0:003:14:51:13 6,987 67 02/22/2007 0:003:06:04:27 5,839 61 02/21/2007 0:004:02:55:30 6,790 70 02/20/2007 0:003:17:57:04 6,025 62 02/19/2007 0:003:10:09:30 6,515 66 02/18/2007 0:002:04:11:57 4,283 42 02/17/2007 0:003:03:52:15 6,089 65 02/16/2007 0:002:03:34:47 4,435 55 02/15/2007 0:003:13:53:35 6,127 70 02/14/2007 0:003:21:27:25 7,983 91 02/13/2007 0:000:17:19:52 1,017 11 02/11/2007 0:000:01:08:46 102 1 02/08/2007 0:000:00:58:36 88 1 02/07/2007 0:000:09:02:26 194 2 02/06/2007 0:000:04:12:29 396 4 02/05/2007 0:003:02:41:42 5,280 59 02/04/2007 0:002:16:09:47 6,018 65 02/03/2007 0:002:09:09:35 5,271 51 02/02/2007 0:003:01:56:11 5,875 52 02/01/2007 0:003:08:18:17 6,583 64 01/31/2007 0:002:02:54:01 4,668 52 01/30/2007 0:004:12:32:11 5,856 56 01/29/2007 0:003:05:04:43 7,271 78 01/28/2007 0:003:05:26:16 6,120 76 01/27/2007 0:003:15:49:37 6,254 57 01/26/2007 0:006:11:56:36 6,920 61 The answer is to keep your queue full and keep crunching. The points will average out to a number per day.

I.... got some points for most days that I was gone. It also takes awhile to build up the point count for each day after I return, because of the delay. .... Don't get upset. I personally don't even look at points since I do not believe they have any useful purpose. Use the " Results Returned (Rank) " as a measure. It's more stable and represents a single whole vs a mix of unknown variables. Relax and be happy ![]() |

Use the " Results Returned (Rank) " as a measure. It's more stable and represents a single whole vs a mix of unknown variables. If you are running all projects, results will average out. For those running a single project, there can be wide variations. I can push out 4 times as many genome comparisons as the others, since they run much faster. Another computer of the same speed here is on the house phone line, and is only running FAAH because it has very small file sizes. It only can do a few results per day.Relax and be happy ![]()
