Well i am happy you came here and i bet your little girl is a handfull.I raised five girls and they are a joy Actually, she's been a lot less of a handful than I would have expected. Rather independent in fact. However, her latest day care class is predominantly boys so she's getting a bit more rambunctous.  |

Please excuse the bold typeface, my old eyes have a problem reading standard typeface these days. Old age comes to us all. Wait long enough, you'll find that out.  Bold all you want! Having discussed working with computers with some visually impaired folks, it was quite an eye opener to realize some of what they have to contend with. |

How's it going MOT? Today looks like being a fairly average day for WUs and points because few WUs have been validated so far, most likely due to it being Sunday, when a lot of people don't have their PCs running.

Hello Raptor _2007 We are having a good day- MD, I guess the WUs I have pending are just not being validated. So far today I've made roughly 40% of my BOINC scores for the past couple of days. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day. I think the validation idea was not a very good one. Having to wait days, even longer, for WUs to be validated does little to encourage people to run the BOINC agent. That's my opinion, but I'll go with what we've been given. | ||

I have been getting really low points lately. Avg points per hour is 24.59. But I am cranking out like 15 results a day, about 1.5 hrs per result. Is this normal. Seems like thats kinda low. I thought I used to get higher.

Hi Hintsala.
----------------------------------------I've been averaging 64.52 points per hour, 29.53 results per day, and a shade over 2.25 hours per result. But that's bound to go down unless the confounded WUs get a move on. If it's the returned WUs that are important, the method used seems like a long-winded way of getting them home. Your points per hour do look low to me, but I'm far from being an expert. Try asking one of the CAs in the forum appropriate to the project/WUs you run mate. Are you running UD or BOINC? BOINC tends to give a slightly higher points to WU ratio, I think. Maybe not much, but it all helps. | ||
