Well i think you are doing just fine boss,El Capitan KH,--I have become accustomed to your style getting better every day. I do love Dave A and it would be nice but i dont think it will happen I am just a real old house painter and dont like a lot of changes and it costs more if you do I went back to work to get some more crunchers but my Grandson is doing Summer crew. They do a lot of traveling and its expensive they are going to Canada this summer to do some racing. They have the best coach. I call him the Dean Smith of rowing but its taking my computer money ------------ I never had a hobby so crunching with MOT takes that spaceSenile old farts have style I guess |

Ok so I'm back to full time WCG with MOT - not they anyone missed me
---------------------------------------- ... well maybe Keith did a little Congratulations to those who reached recent milestones. I'm pleased to inform you that we might soon have an influx of crunchers. I informed a psychiatrist buddy of mine about WCG, and he forwarded the info to the Mental Health Center of Denver... only good things can come from that! Phase 1 is to get them crunching Phase 2 is to get the accounts tied in with MOT Phase 3 is to get some people posting. 1 step at a time ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by spikey_richie at Jun 8, 2007 7:54:25 PM] |

It looks like things have settled down a bit with my account Keith, even if my wireless network does keep dropping the connection due to a low signal strength. My stats for today (as at the 1300 GMT update) are 48 WUs & 5,727 points.
----------------------------------------I must get around to switching to a wired network just as soon as I have time to get down to PCWorld. ![]() |

Today was another excellent day .... and an interesting one. We had a number of great milestones. Remember to update your Hall of Fame banners if you use them when you hit a points milestone. Aleph0 has also rejoined our active crunching ranks. Jonathon Wright dropped from our active ranks which is most interesting as they hit a results returned milestone today. I double checked and it seems that their points total has not changed, their runtime has changed by a very minimal amount but their results returned has gone up by almost 100 in the past 30 days. I have to suspect if they have a problem with a machine that is returning error results.

KH where were you before you came to mot.I see you signed up Nov 18 how did you hear about WCG?--IM nosey-Where do you live. We would like some bio. on you Well, I joined WCG two days after it started. I had been cruncher for SETI for about a month or so before that. A co-worker ran Seti and I kept noticing the screensaver. When I heard about WCG at work, I switched on the spot. Looking for ET is okay but I found WCG much more appealing. I crunched for a bit over a year before I started paying attention to the fact that WCG had teams. I started one of the occasional threads on the point of teams and what you got out of them. I found it difficult to easily compare teams. I still think that is difficult to do but I started reading through some of the team threads and ended up first joining MOT at what was a bit of a contentious time. I came back after a short hiatus, slowly got more and more involved and ended up where I at now. I'm 51, married and have a 4 year old daughter. I live in Waleska. It's about an hour north of Atlanta, Georgia. |
