I guess that I did not make myself clear on this thread. Please post your processor score and type (as shown by the agent):
----------------------------------------![]() Please note that the "Processor Performance" pane is open in the window which means we are looking at the processor score. From this sort of display one would report: 184 Pentium 4 3.2Ghz Dual-Core Pentium D Looking back over the previous couple of pages, there are posts that do not add anything to the tables and reports that I cannot decipher. Please just post the above illustrated reports (without the graphics) here to make my life easier and help to bring more clarity to the confusing world of processors and processor ratings.Thank you all very much, and Kind Regards. Oh... By The Way, I just updated the tables. |

216 Athlon XP Barton 3200+ 2.2Ghz 400Mhz FSB 512K Cache stock speed
----------------------------------------214 Athlon XP Barton 3000+ 2.2Ghz 333Mhz FSB 512K Cache stock speed 192 Sempron 3000+ 2.0Ghz Socket A Barton Core 333Mhz FSB 512K Cache Stock Speed 197 Sempron 2800+ 2.0Ghz Socket A Thoroughbred Core 333Mhz FSB 256K cache Stock Speed These results are not what you would expect and they are the averages over a fair period of time. The 2 XP Bartons are esentially the same the difference explained by the increased FSB of the 3200+ But the Sempron 3000+ is being oversold as it is no match for the 3000+ Barton (200Mhz clock difference). But the weird result comes from the reduced cache 2800+ running at the same speed as the Sempron 3000+ it benchmarking quicker My only explaination being that the 2800+ is running Windows XP whereas the Sempron 3000+ is running the MOT Webserver on Windows 2003 Server. Maybe that is where all the extra power is going ![]() Dave ![]() |

And then there's an Athlon XP 2100+ with 256K Cache and a 266Mhz FSB running at 1.78Ghz this scores 169
----------------------------------------and another Athlon XP Barton 3000+ running at 2.2Ghz with 512K cache and a 333 Mhz FSB this has just scored 210. That's all folks from the Autumns Household Dave Beware crunching is addictive ![]() |

Thanks for RT's effort.
From Windflowers Device #01 Device Name...........Device-01 Processor Score.......178 Model......................Pentinum 4 3.2GHz Prescott FSB800 OverClock...............None Other......................Air Cooling Motherboard............ECS Device #02 Device Name...........Device-02 Processor Score.......195 Model......................Pentinum 4 3.0GHz Northwood FSB800 OverClock...............None Other......................Air Cooling Motherboard............MagicPro Device #03 Device Name...........Device-03 Processor Score.......107 Model......................Pentinum 4 2.0GHz Northwood FSB400 OverClock...............None Other......................Air Cooling Motherboard............MagicPro Just a bit strange that the Processor score of P4 3.2GHz is less than that of 3.0GHz. ![]() |
