I believe this observation applies to feedback. I was thinking out loud and made an obvious discovery. There are approximately 460,000 devices using the grid agent. IBM has a worldwide employee population of over 300,000. Since IBM developed the agent with United Devices helping out, one would think that EVERY IBM office computer is using the grid. A logical conclusion IMHO. Now, 460,000 devices seems like a small number. Anyone know how IBM is handling this? One thing is for certain, IBM cannot possibly account for 70% of all devices on the gtid.

Have a look at the stats... there are a lot of IBM teams (including two of the largest - IBM and IBM Corporation). There are also many, many country, city and department IBM teams.
There are a few limitations, though. I expect most IBM workstations are only on during office hours. Then, IBM have internal grid stuff they may want to run. After all, computing is their business, and they aren't likely to waste all that power. Finally, I don't know exactly how IBM encourage or require their employees to participate. They have told us that the grid software is available on their internal deployment tool. |

Didactylos,
You are absolutely right. I checked the stats and IBM is in third place, fifth place and many more top spots. Sorry for questioning our motherlode. |

About 110,000 of the registered devices have been registered by 72,000 IBMers. We don't force people to join.
