Do you know if one can turn off/on the graphics and screen saver display ? Like with a simple button or command in options or tools ? Reason I ask is that I run my sys 24/7 so when not using my comput, I just shut down the CRT/LCD display keep the box on. Computing for any kind of graphics is complete waste of time when not needed. Would be real nice to be able to simply/easily shut off user's graphics when not needed. |

Hi PTabolinsky,
I use 'blank' for my screensaver. The only time you need to use a project screensaver is if you run the UD client and set it to run projects only when the screensaver is running. With BOINC, you never need to run graphics. You can change your Windows screensaver using Start - Settings - Control Panel - Display. Lawrence |

----------------------------------------The graphics for science is no different as what is already there in 5.4.11.... go to tasks, select the work unit in progress. Hit the Graphics button, top left in side bar. That screen can be expanded to max. When not selected, no graphics run at all. cheers
