To supplement the filtered water, I found some of "probably the best beer in the world".
Hopefully this supply will last until Lone_Wolf shows up with the real one. ![]() |

Great TLD
Brought us some chow from the Yorkshire Dales Skipton, North Yorkshire, to be precise - cooked the only right way: Beef drippings - and with mushy pies ![]() It will go fine with the Corona, you rolled into the camp ![]() |

Looking outside I see a lot of tents. I welcome one and all. This is a very good thing you are doing and you are sincerely appreciated.
----------------------------------------little mermaid, prize winners are recipients (think Nobel). My friends and family are skeptical of things they do not understand. I have assured them that WCG is harmless. It will require a bit more time but I feel confident that some can be persuaded to join this cause. There are new members on WCG that may be looking for a team to join. I have two suggestions; The survivors and Base Camp HQ. You can't go wrong with either. After reading the forums it is obvious that we know many people that have been diagnosed with cancer. Please be assured that a diagnosis of cancer is not a death sentence. There are many new treatments available and members of WCG are helping in the search for new cures. Myself, I was diagnosed with cancer in both kidneys in 2000. 11 years later I am still here. Early detection is your best friend, but having said that there are people that had stage 4 cancer and have fully recovered. All things are possible so do not lose faith or look for miracle cures. Get a second opinion, search for peer reviewed clinical trials, and if possible find a doctor/hospital that has a lot of experience with your type of cancer. What I mean is if you have a choice between a doctor that does a procedure twice a year as opposed to a doctor that does the procedure twice a week, pick the later. If you are financially limited seek foundations or organizations that provide aid. Cancer will change your life forever but do not let it beat you. My prayers are with you. ![]() ![]() Please join the team The survivors and be a large fish in a small pond ![]() |

- not any lamb dinner?
- no lamb chops with mint jelly, rwillis? Which kind of beer do you keep at you tent? If you're into something feinschmeckerei, I got hold of these Belgian ones, which I keep in the beck upstream from our curly little friends: ![]() RCC, I like your opinions about cancer very much, and agree with you that early detection is paramount. And each day brings new possibilities for the patients. - and yes, recipients are prize winners in several meanings of that word. Well, I hope your surroundings will come around. You don't have to be skeptical of all you don't understand, but accept it: Crunching, tears, joy and love. Let's limit our recommendations of teams for new members to The Survivors. If you read Base Camp's member list, there is one - and he's not really for real. We are a Motley Crew (oliviathefirst's (Elaine's) expression). We assemble and crunch in some kind of unison summoned by the jungle telegraph, smoke signals and not least TLD's mass e-mail system. If you - hopefully - get a number of new members, you could train them in Base Camping, and you could get yourself a Ghost Captain Base Camp style - but let's try to get you off the ground first, my friend ![]() |

recipients vs. victims....we just got here; wait a couple of weeks and see what you think of us then!!!!
----------------------------------------In the mean time I'll see if I can find the supply train and get it here ![]() ![]() |

I'll pop in to visit for a bit if I may. A Base Camper by the name of RAMMIE has been bedding down in the Vultures nest for a bit whilst between treks so I'm going to pop over here to act as a Sherpa for the BC'ers by way of thanks.
We vultures are used to living off the land and don't need much by way of sustenance, but a word of warning - anything you leave sticking out of your tent at night may get gnawed off. ![]() |

Train? Sounds good!
<pssst, Sport, Ghostie wants a word with you about Shiney> I'll get us some music - we did this one in Base Camp already, but Ghost Plane find the hairdos irresistable - furthermore they ask a very important and relevant question: Hvor skal vi sove i nat? - where are we going to sleep tonight? We shall sleep in our Peach Plantation Base Camp Camp Ground, of course! I invited a few friends, and I hope some of them will sneak into the camp overnight. |
