Was about to go out for a walk again this afternoon, and it rained!
Rain is about to turn to sleet, then a little snow is possible, so it's batten down the hatches time again! Can anyone remember summer???  |

Can anyone remember summer??? Nope! But then there is not a lot I can remember I put it all down to knee replacements - they affect the brain!! |

Evening all
Just a short shower here but it's been dull and, without the sun, much cooler than of late. looks like cricket has become a very dangerous sport. |

good morning everyone.
The nearest Pub to me is miles away, dog and I usually walk down to the river, about 500 yards, then follow the bank to the nab, a place where three rivers meet, (the Swale and the Ure meet to form the Ouse), this juction is less than a 1000 yards from my home, but you have to walk a couple of miles to get there! Then there is the walk back of course. I get home quite tired, and dog just looks at me as if to say "Is that it?" |
