Morning All.
----------------------------------------Ice on the windscreen when I got into the car, but came away with a quick swish of the wipers rather than having to scrape. Guess what? SNOW! and Ruddy Cold! The local radio station mentioned patches of snow in Berkshire & North Hampshire (the coverage of the radio station, rather than the snow), but nothing to see in between Windsor and Reading on my early morning drive in. Saw the most beautiful sunrise though (albeit in my rear view mirror). I wish I'd had my camera. |

Morning all. a peace full St Perrins day to every one
----------------------------------------Yesterdays sun was soon hidden by sleet with much wind Frosty start to this morning, The sun is there Tho' so will soon be back to normal .....Rain Seems we might not have to apply to "work" after reaching 65.As the Law stands at this moment you have to request and give reason why you wish to be considered for continued employment even part time Ur-ropye working directive ![]() There is a pressure group asking to abolish prescription charges in England as it is in Wales and soon in Scotland, that's for everyone not just the elderly. Another group in the west country wants us to declare a bank holiday today for St perrin who supposedly discovered tin in Cornwall. Some Cornish councils have given "Council workers" (if thats not a tortoligy or should that be an oxymoron ) Not on, until they Make St Georges day the same. Final doom and gloom the bank of england might reduce the base interest rat by another half point Note to Ted: This doesn't affect the white fiver's under your mattress ![]() St Perran/Piran His shrine at Perranzabuloe was a popular place of pilgrimage in the Middle Ages. Saint Piran's bones, bishop's crosier (staff) and copper bell were preserved there. St. Piran became the patron saint of tinners and miners, and his feast day on 5th March was celebrated in Cornwall by receiving a day off from work and a bonus of money. I would be happy to go for a Reggie Perrin day "Points failure at High Maldon" "I didn't get where I am today CJ (Aka TW) switching my computors off at night" ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by densnaps at Mar 5, 2009 9:06:15 AM] |

Good morning all
----------------------------------------![]() Lost a Compaq yesterday (motherboard gave up the ghost) I'll have to swing by the computer shop this evening to see if they have a replacement doner. Snow is still here but it's supposed to be in the 60's by tomorrow and then rain (hopefully to wash it all away) It's pretty but I can look at it on Webshots and see all I want. Y'all have a great day ![]()

Evening all
Dry but cool here with sunshine promised for the next few days. Looks as if the Honda team has made it and should be on the starting line for the first race. |
