5/17:
Okay, with NSD and going out of town, and work, I've been SUPER busy and a tad forgetful lately... but I've finally remembered while at my computer at home, that I need to pick a winner of this challenge!! Thanks for all the participation ladies!! Y'all did some great layouts and I'm glad y'all were inspired by the mood board and the holiday options.
random.org has picked blfonty as the winner! I am sending out your GC shortly. Thanks for playing along!

It’s hard to believe April is already here! April brings with it warmer temps (hopefully for some of you!) and the wonderful colors of Spring. It also means that hopefully we’ll be able to go camping finally this month! And my husband’s birthday and his dad’s too. Lots of things going on!
As I did last month, as long as no one objects, this month will again be a Christmas OR Other Holiday challenge. I’ve gathered a list of Monthly, weekly, and daily Holidays and wacky celebrations that are held in April, for your scrapping pleasure. This is not a complete list, as I’ve removed some, but I think all of these could easily be used as inspiration for a scrapbook page – or two! I’ve actually got a couple pages in mind myself after reading this list!
Option 1: Since everyone seems to really like the mood board idea, this option will give you a chance to use a mood board! Make a Christmas/Chanukah/Kwanzaa scrapbook page/card/December Daily/Journal Your Christmas etc. using this mood board as inspiration. Please say which part of the mood board inspired you.
Option 2: Make a scrapbook page using one of the holidays listed below as inspiration for your layout.
Twist: For BOTH options, I want you to use Musical Notes somewhere on your page. It can be in the paper, an embellishment, etc., but please make sure it’s clearly visible. You do NOT have to have lyrics from a song (but you can if you like!) but please use music notes etc. somewhere.
Bonus Twist: IF you can make a Christmas/Chanuka/Kwanzaa layout AND use a theme from one of the holidays listed below, you will get TWO entries into the drawing!
Rules: Must be a new layout/card/December Daily
May be combined with one other March challenge that allows it.
Multiple entries are allowed.
Entries due by April 30, 11:59pm. All eligible entries will go into a drawing for a $5 GC from ACOT!

LOVE the mood board, Carolyn and that's a great list of holidays too!
gorgeous mood board Carolyn!
Here is my first entry: I used the color red and the cupcake as inspiration. The yummy chocolate inspired me to use the brown.
I am probably going to do a Library LO too for this challenge

LOL!!! I love the 17th - Blah Blah Blah Day!!!!
Oh My.....Just imagine my excitement at finding the 14th as Look Up At the Sky Day!!!
<<<giddiness>>> ensued!!!
Yes, I forgot my camera last Friday on the way to the ranch. We get to College Station and the clouds don't look right. We had to stop and pick up some vaccines for the cattle. Clouds really need to be looked into I thought. Suppose to rain tonight at ranch....but....but... Funny thing is they didn't look like bad storms. As we headed out of CS I checked the radar. Dang....camera is at home... As we get just north of Hearne my husband is more worried about me dropping my phone out of the truck as I take photo after photo of an awesome wall cloud.
So the answer is yes, LOL....love looking up at the clouds especially this time of year when there is some fantastic formations to thunderstorms!!! Definitely for this person .... the best nothing better to do activity!!! LOL
Great challenge this month Carolyn!!! Definitely playing along!!
By the way, wish I could be at the ranch tomorrow....severe storms possible late afternoon into Thursday!

I have always loved looking at the sky and clouds, and there are definitely interesting things that happen with storms. I actually took a weather class in college, where we learned all about weather patterns, clouds, storms, etc., it was an elective for me but one of the coolest I had! Glad you are excited about this challenge, can't wait to see what you come up withkillarney_rose wrote:Oh My.....Just imagine my excitement at finding the 14th as Look Up At the Sky Day!!!

Thanks a lot of fun! Option # 1 used the woman with back visible as inspiration. Option # 2 Kindergarten Day
Here is mine. I chose the 28th, National Astronomy Day, which was perfect for these pictures!!!!
Susan
Here's my layout for the challenge.
I was inspired by Lawn & Garden month. The yellow paper layered behind the picture has musical notes.
I was inspired by Lawn & Garden month. The yellow paper layered behind the picture has musical notes.
Here is mine:
The theme is both Christmas and National Siblings Day (the photo was taken of my two sisters and myself last Christmas Day), I was inspired by all the red in the mood board (red sequins on the dress, red/white crumbs from the candy cane around the cupcake) to use red splatters on the page and glitter on the title block. And of course music notes on and around the title block.

Here's my entry! It was fun!
I was able to combine option #1 & 2! I was inspired by the mood board on Option #1 to do a Christmas layout and my red & white washi tape along with the thin red & white stripe along the patterned paper look like the peppermint sticks on the mood board. The way it fits into Option #2 is that the photos are of my DS (and his sister's doll, lol) reading, so that goes with "Children's Book Day." Used some papers from Heidi Swapp's Believe collection, and used a cut out from one of the papers for my title, and that's how I fit in the music notes, because it's a song title! lol!
