That's awesome! Show us pics when it's filled, please?janetk wrote:I showed the video to my daughter who is 12, I asked her if she would like one, I would buy it for her, without a pause she says to me "Mom, I can make one cheaper lets just go to walmart and get a note pad"
SO we went off to Walmart, and nothing there was quite what we wanted (I decided I wanted one too!) SO I remembered years ago I had done an altered book (lost it in my many moves) and explained we can go to the used book store and do the same thing, paint int he book etc.... We joined a Yahoo altered book site to get ideas.
Mary is going to town, adding all kinds of stuff and carefully ripping out her pages. I found a nice book with sewn biding and it made it real easy to get the pages out, thats what Mary wants next time. She brought it to school to have her friends sign it, they loved it and want one to!
Its got gum wrappers, pictures, clothes from magazines, ticket stubs, shes really enjoying it! Me too! I will definately most mine when I'm finished (a few pages anyway) and hers.
