I read. Christian fiction, mostly.
I've started reading a lot more in the last 2 years. Not sure why. Right now I am into the True Blood books. Yeah I know, it's fluff but it's so good. I read all 9 or 10 of them since mid December. Now I'm bummed because a new one isn't out until May. That's the problem when you finish a book and want more.
I'm a James Patterson and Sanford. I also really enjoy Jackie Collins.
I read as often as I possibly can, especially on vacation. Trashy romance novels or mysteries (nothing gory or scary).

I love Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series!!!!! I love to laugh and these books make me roar!!!!!!!
I love murder/mystery and political thriller/conspiracy type books. Right now I am reading a new author (for me) named Vincent Flynn. The book is called Term Limits and so far it is really good.
Anything Stephen King - but I must read other material as well --- I'm a teacher!! Read all the time!!
I read in spurts, usually can't put a book down once I start and if I like an author I want to read everything they've written. My most recent favorite author is Lisa See.....Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, Peony in Love, Dragon Bones, Shanghi Girls (haven't read this last one yet)...
Love to read, mostly sci-fi/fantasy adventure but some others. I'd have to say my favorite author in that genre is Orson Scott Card - his most famous is Ender's Game but my favorite is the Homecoming series. He has great characterization and always includes some religious practices/thoughts which I enjoy a lot (and many fiction stories completely omit that part of life).
Nicholas Sparks is my favorite! Any book by him is fabulous!:)

I go through periods of vampire books, then I switch to fantasy (dragons and such).

I don't have much time to read....maybe an occasional magazine like Taste of Home or Simply Delicious.
