I've started reading a lot more in the last 2 years. Not sure why. Right now I am into the True Blood books. Yeah I know, it's fluff but it's so good. I read all 9 or 10 of them since mid December. Now I'm bummed because a new one isn't out until May. That's the problem when you finish a book and want more.

I read as often as I possibly can, especially on vacation. Trashy romance novels or mysteries (nothing gory or scary).

I love murder/mystery and political thriller/conspiracy type books. Right now I am reading a new author (for me) named Vincent Flynn. The book is called Term Limits and so far it is really good.

I read in spurts, usually can't put a book down once I start and if I like an author I want to read everything they've written. My most recent favorite author is Lisa See.....Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, Peony in Love, Dragon Bones, Shanghi Girls (haven't read this last one yet)...

Love to read, mostly sci-fi/fantasy adventure but some others. I'd have to say my favorite author in that genre is Orson Scott Card - his most famous is Ender's Game but my favorite is the Homecoming series. He has great characterization and always includes some religious practices/thoughts which I enjoy a lot (and many fiction stories completely omit that part of life).

I love Lisa Scottoline books.. Kate White writes some cute chick lick mystery novels.. I adore the Pink Carnation Series by Lauren Willig.. Historical romance but with a modern romance.. It's great. Jennifer Donnelly writes some great historical romance/fiction.. Nora Roberts rocks! :) I also like Christine Feehan's paranormal romance books.. :)
