Though I want something better than an XTi I really can't afford it.immom2anc wrote: I just bought my DSLR last week SUPER GREAT DEAL on Amazon.com. The Canon Rebel Xsi is usually 799.00, Best Buy had it on sale for 749.00 plus tax, but Amazon has it for 679.00 no tax or shipping!! The refurbished Xti's were only $100-$150 less... So not worth it. So keep searching, you'll find a great deal and it's definitely a must if you're going to go pro. Good luck!!

Actually, from what I've been reading and heard from other photographers sometimes a refurbished one is better than a brand new one. Mainly because it's been used before and you know it works.GRACEpunches5 wrote: i remember that feeling. this will be my fourth summer doing wedding photography!!!!! i would buy a brand new camera, not a used one....
