I think you should delete the file. You may need to restart BOINC as well. |

You may just want to try to detach from www.worldcommunitygrid.org and make sure there are no files in your BOINC directory relating to the project then attach to the project again.

Ok, well, thanks for the efforts, guys. I was hoping to maybe save the completed WUs and somehow send them in.
Anywhoo, I reset the project and should be good to go hopefully. It downloade 25 new WUs and started on the first two. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope uploading goes well from here out. |

WCG's server security has been breached by people who don't like WCG's condoning carl.h's threats to assault WCG members. Now you have something on your computer you don't want to have if you want to crunch WCG. Standard anti-virus wares won't fix it so your only option is to format your disc and reinstall the OS. WCG's only option is to turf carl.h. Then most of the wierdness happening lately will just go away. |

Or is there just a run on conspiracy theorists lately? I "now have something on my computer... blah, blah, ad nauseum..." Really? Well, thanks for your input. Even if that was true, no need for a format and re-install, I'd just take three to four minutes to restore an image. No biggie. I never believed that BS about Carl H.making threats of assault. That was just some lunatic's idea of furthering his own agenda. What is your agenda and part in this seeming anti-WCG movement? BTW, "keeping my fingers crossed" is just an expression.
