Hi again folks.
Device ID#s (in order) are: 300186, 437708, 397247 I first noticed the problem yesterday but was too busy to investigate then and only installed the latest security updates and removal tool this morning. |

I'm having the same issue, if I dump and reload the client... IE... create a new device... it runs for a few days, and then I get the warning message. Projects involved so far HPF2, Genome, and HIV.
I've tried limiting the projects, and have virus scanned FooX times. Device in question is RWILLISHOME2..... Rick |

Bump...... As I'm having the same issue on 2 machines now. Ones a P4 2.4 with 1gb ram, the other P4 2.4 with 512 mb ram. The projects will run for a day or 2, and 30 sec crash, 30 sec crash. I get the something is causing your machine to crash work units...... ETC message.
If I uninstall, and reinstall they run for a few more days. Rigs are fully patched, and have been virus scanned. I ran this project about 6 months ago on both machines with no issues. Projects HIV HPF2. Thanks for any help in advance, Rick |

Rick Rick, we need the device ID which u can find in the preferences window of the UD agent, right hand bottom, below the device name. Should be a number like 345678. Is your machine well cooled and all hardware tested? (See 'Useful Utilities ' thread in 'Start Here ' forum for what to use. Crunching 24/7 at 100% CPU time is the heaviest work out a computer can get.

Sekerob,
Thank you for the reply. The machine with the most errors current ID is 481981, but I just reloaded last night, so I may not have the error until Sunday - if this holds to pattern. The machine is well cooled, and the hardware passes the muster. I've been Folding on this rig 24/7 for months, and before that here at WCG. Next time it happens I'll bump, and leave it running with the error is that would be of any help. Thanks again for the help and suggestions, Rick |
