invalid key problem here too

checked my grid and its showing a 32bit key and have typed the password very carefully, but still no luck

The latest version of BOINC asks for a username and password, NOT for your account key.

You will need the latest BOINC version if you want to contribute to the most recent WCG project, because WCG are now using the download compression feature.

I have the same problem. I use the BOINC Manager on Windows and tried to add WCG as a new project, entered my username and password and received the same error message.

No, there is no new explanation mentioned in there. All it describes is how to log on at all.

Yes, I did. The system also gave me an account key. So I assume, my user has been created correctly. The problem seems to be the log in procedure uding the Boinc client.
