Good Day I have had phase II running now for 60hrs. and it seems to be stuck at 3.6%, it does look like the graphs are showing an increase in work done, also it shows 60% cpu throttle.
I was wondering if this program takes alot more time to complete a crunch.? BTW it got to 3% quite quickly if that means anything. It has sat at 3.6% now for approx. 40hrs. Any info would be appreciated. |

That is worrying. I think the bugfixes to HPF2 have made problems rarer, rather than eliminating them altogether.
Please will you give your device ID? |

hi.... it really depends on how fast the box is, but 3.6 percent on 60 hours is too slow. That means u would not finish the task within the deadline of 3 weeks on UD Agent, so propose u make notes and post them here:
----------------------------------------Device ID (in the options screen of the UD agent) When u got the work approximately (Time/Date) CPU time, 60% is default Go to taskmanager and kill it by selecting the wcg_hpf2_rosetta.exe and terminate. It should send u new work. Take it previous HPF2 finished fine on your PC. cheers

good if wcg is working again.
task manager is opened by right-click at bottom of screen. then 'processes' will show you what is taking the cpu power. |

Click on Start, click on Run from the Start Menu, in the box that pops up type taskmgr and click on OK. Another box will appear with tabs at the top. Second from the left is Processes. Look for a line that says wcg_hpf2_rosetta.exe. Click on that line to highlight it. At the bottom right of the box will be a button that says End Process, Click on that and when another box appears asking you to confirm that you want to end the process, click on Yes. The HPF unit will terminate and the agent will automatically download a fresh workunit.
