There are... "issues" with some NIC's and 802.11n on Linux.
Q&D fix is to dump N mode - slower but stable. |

Yes there are issues and I have had the same issues with with both "g" and "n". Maybe it is just me, but I have reboot my range extender about every three days or each linux machine will eventually hang on communications. I have tried rebooting each machine, (limited but slight success) but the only surefire way to break the logjam is reboot the range extender. Cheers

Bad storms last night. The power was out for several hours. I have one tree from front yard down, numerous limbs down and scads of debris all over the lawn. My production will be down for a while until I can clean things up a bit and get my servers in the outbuilding back up and running. From looking at pictures from the rest of St. Cloud, I got by pretty lucky. At least no damage to the house and other buildings. Others have had several trees uprooted. We also had some hail, about marble sized and 1.5in(3.75cm) of rain.

It looks like Minnesota Crunchers will come in at 13th place in the Asteroids challenge. not at all bad for 21 total teams and us only having 5 active crunchers there!

I heard there was 4 inch hail in South Dakota last night or this morning. |

Clearwater got nailed pretty good. Woke up at 2:30am to what I thought was a tornado. Straight line winds ripped up trees throughout Clearwater and surrounding area. Still no power. Had to go buy a generator. Most we're gone but got lucky to get last one I could afford. No crunching until power comes back. Lost a few trees and minor damage to house. Park close by lost 1/3 of the trees, around 20. Looks like a couple more nights of this crap. Stay safe folks.

Most of the really bad weather slid south and hit the Twin Cities. Still cleaning up the mess here, but we are lucky, we were only out of power for about 4 hours and it only hailed marble sized hail for about 10 minutes. It looks like Rockville and Luxumburg got nailed pretty good too. There was a big hole torn in the roof of the church and I saw a pictue of a tree which fell on a tractor in Rockville. They closed off all of Rockville yesterday until they get things cleaned up. Everybody stay safe. BTW congrats on your 90 years Bearcat.

BTW congrats on your 90 years Bearcat. Thanks. Just got power back a few hours ago. Looking at the radar, looks like its starting up again. West of the dakotas its starting to build. Lets hope it fizzles before coming here. Stay safe everyone. BTW, i'm crunching again.
