The only way my Mom could get me to eat it was Rhubarb pie. Wish she was still here to make it. peace

My son did have a rhubarb/strawberry malt. He said it was good. i have quite a bit of rhubarb in the freezer. My wife makes very good rhubarb crisp. A special treat a few times every winter. Made a couple of batches of rhubarb sauce earlier in the year, a springtime treat.

I did go to the spam exhibit where I took a picture of my son siting in the spam throne - a number of cases of spam piled in such a way as to make a sat like an over stuffed chair. I could have bought a fried spamwich or fried spam chunks with cheese, but at $5.00 a pop I thought that was too much. After all you can get a whole can of Spam for about $3.50 and make my own. I happen to like Spam, but my wife does not that much for it. She makes it once in a great while. As a sidelight you need the can to be used as a cookie cutter for Sally Ann cookies.

Cheers

The malt sounds good. I must sheepishly admit that I like SPAM once in a while too. SPAM SPAM Eggs and SPAM. peace

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Check out the local spots if you ever get to Hawaii. They love Spam there. They're the biggest consumers of Spam though I'm not sure if it's total or per capita. Still, they eat a lot of it there. They have quite the Spam cusine!

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Was stationed in schofield barracks from 78 to 82. Don't recall spam being on allot of plates back then. But, back then, was more interested in partying and chasing the puntang. Had a blast. Practically lived on the beach when not training to kill the commies. One of these days, will make a trip back. The air fair is still outrageous.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Well folks, sold my Mac pro today. Decided to sell it while I could get a decent price for it. It was a 2008. Going to save for another down the road. Still plan on building from my other parts. Still no luck on finding cheap quad cores. Still have my woodcrest chips to run 4 cores until I find some. Now that the weather is cooling down, can run full blast with the crunchers. Hope your summer was enjoyable. Looks like winter is coming fast. All my eggcorns have fallen of the trees already.

I had to read that twice to figure out what kind of trees you had. Okay, I got it, very creative, makes me think of a cross between chickens and maize. laughing

Boy did I goof on that word. Didn't even think about it until you cracked me on it. Time to back to grade school to learn how to spell! crying
On another note, anyone have a cheap eatx case they want to get rid of cheap? That's all I need to build my dual dual core cruncher.
