Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Going to be down for a few days hopefully. Upgrading the mobo on my linux 8 core box. Going from 677 to 800 Mhz board. Also going to install the big hulking heat sinks... http://www.thermalright.com/new_a_page/produc...uct_cpu_cooler_hr01x.html instead of going with liquid cooling. Hope they fit as these things are huge. From what I have read, they are supposed to be real good. Guess I'll find out this weekend. biggrin

Well, you picked a hot enough weekend to give them a good workout.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Lost my air conditioning this weekend, and won't be fixed until at least Tuesday. All machines off for now.

We are in a moderate risk for severe weather tomorrow here so keep and ear to the weather radio.

Would really like to get more rain, but without the the severe weather part. Getting pretty dry here. Been flirting with the 90 's(F) (32+(C)) here this week. Mostly use fans to keep the cool going.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

At 2:15 PM it looks like a tornadic cell is headed straight for St.Cloud and if it holds together it looks to be headed straight down I94 for the metro.

Had reports of softball sized hail around Cold Spring and a possible sighting of a tornado around Freeport. I got les than a 1/4 inch((6cm) of rain. However, now there is a big batch of rain on the way. Looks to be heavy.

Cheers
