The biggest differences "lies" between the candidates and their struggle to differentiate each other using various strategies to target the largest market of voters. Of course they are generally just political pawns of the system and rely heavily if not predominately on the influence of their advisors and ultimately congress, etc. They do whatever it takes to get into office and generally attempt to make good on "promises" but are often more successful coming out with a "compromise" or a less than ideal solution or a favorable exuse or another outright lie. So even when the candidates are members of different parties and have different perspectives their initial standpoints will be filtered through many things to the point that is difficult to know if anyone else could have done any different.

Whats wrong with you americans? why can't you behave like decent christians? no wonder the world hates your country. It makes no more sense to judge all Americans by these few that seem to have a burr under their saddle than it does to judge all your countrymen by your comments. Have a great Holliday season regardless of your Race , Creed, Country of origin, or Religion. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by RT at Dec 23, 2004 3:39:27 PM] |

Happy Holiday Season to all people from all places and regardless of religious affiliation. Now is the time to put aside all negativity and focus on the task at hand...renewal of the human heart. Be well |

It would be more than appropriate that the GOLDEN RULE be invoked on these forums. There are many thousands of people, providing serious resources to unlock major science issues while a few have chose to make school yard hissy fits that should not be tolerated on this Grid. If these kids desire to get their egotistic kicks, boot them off to another cyberworld; and the sooner the better. In my business world, this kind of behavior would get one (1) suspension and the second time would earn a one way exercise plan out the office door, like forever. Without rules of order, there will be chaos. If the administrators do not start stepping on their brake peddle of this trash, count on potential newbies and some serious believers to vote out of the GRID with our mice. I am sorry to use up this much of your time and mine. I will NOT play any more verbal bash ball. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 4, 2006 2:41:29 PM] |
