Hi all,
my UD agent starts a HDC work unit from scratch when I exit the agent and start it again. This happens even when the agent has done plenty of the work (60% or so). What' wrong? |

This is what happens if something stops the check point file from updating properly. What OS are you running? What security programs do you have on your computer? Lawrence |

Hi Lawrence,
I have Windows XP Pro, security programs are just McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise 8.0 with latest engine. I have local administrator rights, but can't controll the virus scaner. The symtomes: - If I don't stop the agent, everithing works. - In the past HDC was able to stop and restart. Jörg |

hmmmm there was the BOINC version question missing...McAfee has a bug (non compliance to standard network behaviour) which required upgrading to BOINC 5.4.11.....who knows
