60% throgh Stage 2
----------------------------------------Statistics Last Updated: 10/20/2006 00:06:03 (UTC) Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) 31,933:097:17:07:31 Points Generated 8,265,336,067 Results Returned 28,047,984 Lawrence Added: I am copying my conclusions from the Project Status thread at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=7397#73569 28,047,984 results at 60% completion of Stage 2 22,529,595 results at 40% completion of Stage 2 - - - - - - - - 05,518,389 results = 20% completion Therefore we will probably need to do another 11,036,778 results to complete Stage 2 at 39,084,762 results. Progress should increment 1% per 275,920 results. The longer base line makes this look much more heartening. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Oct 20, 2006 4:52:36 AM] |

Hi qafdemo,
Probably. Right now we are crunching more than 1% every 3 days. Of course, we have the Christmas holidays coming up when we will lose a lot of university and business computers. Lawrence |

.....been plotting along .... the end of Jan prediction by Larry Fine & supported LawrenceH numbers seems very achievable if no new targets are introduced. If more people would discover the throttle in UD agent, no new projects are introduced it could in fact be earlier as the whole grid is back on a growth track....... 2 days in a row (wed/thu) we went over 50,000 crunching days in 24 hours and last week ending October 20, we blasted thru the 900 years crunch for the 7th time in history....actually 906 years. As per quotation of David Autumns, and from historical plots......see below, we should continue to gain pace. That plot includes the restricted HDCs of about 20,000 WU a day.
----------------------------------------I suppose, most of us are crunching with a vengeance, as no-one else will do it for us! ciao ![]()

Yeah but the good news is a lot of companies do upgrades to their computers this time of year and if they continue to run WCG we will process more. When I upgraded from a 3.2 Hyperthreading to a 2.8 duel core I almost halved the time to crunch.
