It's a result of you cycling around, what BOINC believed to be a lot of valid WU's, when they were not. Once u hit the limit it kept on increasing that value, because it wanted to work, yet u arrived at the server limit of 12. Once u return a few 'real' valids, the number normalizes again.

I finally figured out why my completion times went from 5, 6 hours
to 15, 16 hours. This laptop device had the Battery profile set to "Timers off" - I can't recall when I did that in the last 2 weeks (or why) but I'm the guilty party. As soon as I clicked "Maximum Performance", it started crunching like a bunny. That still doesn't explain dumping out on all the FAAH WUs - but that may have been a one time blip related to the hang I mentioned in a prior post. Rob |
