Seen more 'partners' that have none or hard to find links back to WCG shortly after announcement. Especially hard e.g. is at the L.A.F.... lots of announcements in multiple languages and press releases when one does a cluster search, but no actual 'on site' promotion one can easily put the mouse on......3 months after.

I have to agree with you both it looks like we've started a new research project into Telepathy. You just read the cancer.org pages and think I'll pop over to www.worldcommunitygrid.org and donate my PC's Idle time to this worthy cause....

maybe it's a new subliminal advertising campaign

no smileys this is not funny this is Cancer Research crunching time lost

I've had words

I'll let you know

Dave

Hi I've found this

http://www.cancer.org/docroot/SPC/content/SPC_1_World_Community_Grid.asp

But only by using the sites search engine it wasn't there yesterday and anyone not in the know couldn't find it by accident

mmm, not to be picky but i went to the site itself.

from the home page on, i was in no way able to find this project. not even under 'news' or 'contribute'.

ok found it under 'spotlight'. not my definition of a spotlight but better than nothing i guess smile

Re: Question about new partner ACS in 'member news' 10-9-06

Okay, Laurels for the person that can find a link on the Lance Armstrong Foundation / Livestrong site.....it has no search feature and any googling only brings press releases to surface outside of the LAF site!

Could the WCG please confirm the mutual linking before fanfare on all 'partnerships' it announces.....

thx

Re: Question about new partner ACS in 'member news' 10-9-06

Before a partner becomes a partner, they have to post an article on their Internet site OR their Intranet site. If it's on their Intranet site, then we can't look at it however they do send us screen shots to verify that it's there. For the post on their Internet site.... they only have to have it in a relatively prominent place on day 1 of becoming a partner.
