Strange distribution

Anyone understanding this one... the 3rd copy was send out on the 10th, where the first two were send out on the 5th......what happened to the original 3rd copy.....manual intervention based on post re loosing WU's?

The BOINC 5.4 client and server added the capability to 'resend' a lost workunit. For example, if you reset the project, then you will be 'resent' your workunits that were previously assigned to that computer. Also, in some cases if a server response was sent to a client but for some reason the client did not recieve or process the response, then this mechanism will re-notify the client that it was assigned.

If the workunit is approaching the deadline, the server will grant the host a little more time to finish processing the workunit.

I've tracked down a few of these to be sure that is what happened and it always was. I expect the same is here as well.

......like it, it stops from others to get warped work schedules, because of a shorter return time WU barging in i.e. "u reset your machine, u get rushed" ;>)
