Allowing only one task to run at a time?

I have a Core Duo processor, and by default it runs two tasks, each on separate cores. Is there a way to allow only one task to run at a time?

Currently, I have to do this:

1. Manually suspend the other task and
2. Indicate that no other tasks are to be downloaded.

This means every time a task is finished I have to manually download another task.

If u go to the BOINC profile on WCG website, u can choose to use 1 CPU core.

On multiprocessors, at most use: 1 processors

PS Dont forget to hit the Project Update button in BOINC, to replciate the profile to your machine.
