Thanks to all who are trying to help; I discovered that the reason I can't get the 2nd video to play with Internet Explorer is that it is a Google video, and no Version 7 Internet Explorer can play ANY Google Video. Anyway, I've put a note to that effect on the second page of my website. It's late now, so I'll post again later regarding the possibility of my obtaining a video file to use instead of Google.
Thanks. Bill Velek |

IE7, to the best of my knowledge is not the problem. I just watched both videos using IE7. Where the rub is, I suspect, is in the default settings for running ActiveX controls. IE7 required me to allow this particular ActiveX prior to showing the video.
----------------------------------------Hope this helps. |

IE7 required me to allow this particular ActiveX prior to showing the video. Hope this helps. Thanks, Sekerob and RT. I went to the control panel in IE7 where my add-ons are managed, and every single one -- including all ActiveX controls -- were already 'enabled'. I concluded that my system was missing one, so I went here and upgraded from Flash 6 to Flash 9, and it works okay now. I've changed the note on my page to explain that. Thanks again. Bill Velek |
