I've just added 500Mb of RAM to my Ubuntu Linux machine brining the total to 1.5Gb. How do I update my default profile to tell it that my amount of RAM has increased so that I get more points awarded (according to the website, part of the points calculation depends on the amount of RAM the machine has).
I've looked all over my profile, but I can't find where I adjust this figure? Can anyone help? Thanks Ted |

Look again :-)
You're looking at the UD points calculation. BOINC works out credit differently, and is unaffected by the amount of memory you have. |

Yes, and while Ted wasn't looking to add RAM so he could run HDC under BOINC, for those who may wonder, when you power back up after plugging in the new RAM, BOINC will pick the new RAM up when it restarts.
