reached daily quota of 8 results

This has just cropped up on one of my members, The Knights. (reached daily quota of 8 results). All his machines were crunching HDC only. We tried resetting the project on that machine and adding FAAH in WCG projects. It still wont download new work.

Boinc version on all machines - 5411

Machines & OS
Dual 2.8 Xeon 2GB DDR 2003 server
Dual 3.2 Xeon 2Gb DDR 2003 server
3.0 Sempron 1GB DDR 2003 server
2.8 Sempron 1GB DDR XP

It,s the last one refusing to work. Cheers.

Hello Orakk,
The daily limit shrinks with each Invalid result and grows with each Valid result (up to a limit). Check your Results Status page for that computer. If it shows a problem with that computer, then take it offline and start running diagnostics from the Useful Utilities thread at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=2490

We have a string of errors on that machine and is the only one running an older Boinc client so we are updating that and running the tools you suggested. Thanks Orakk.

Edit, Hardware checked out fine, current version of boinc has been installed on the offending node and today 'valid' returns are in. All fixed cool

I have reached daily quota of 2 results. I had a memory module fail and forgot to enable virtual memory when I took that module out. I think this may have caused all my errors. Is it possible to get the quota reset or allow this machine to have a few more work units to see if the problem is fixed? I am running prime95 and things look good so far.

Hello Jason1478963,
Now that you are returning valid results, in several days you will be running all the time again. This happens automatically without any need for special intervention. Having to wait for a quorum to validate your results should not slow down this process very much.

Its been offline all day waiting for a unit to crunch. I have no work units and its another 4 hours before it tries to get more. I tried to manually have the project update and I still get the following.

I do have checked to recieve work from other projects if no work is available. I would like to get back to crunching. Its a shame for this machine to have wasted a day....20 to 30 results that could have been completed :(

If u really have no work left amd idling, then try reset under the project tab. With the 'alternate work' option u should be receiving FAAH work, unless u returned messed up units......then u probably have to sit it out or send a contact-us message with device name and number...then techs could manually reset.

Thanks for the suggestion. I currently have a couple work units crunching and am trying to build up the valid results. If I manually update the project after these next too maybe i will be good for the night. If that dont work i'll try the reset. Thanks again for the help.
