Have Stat Updates permamently shifted scheduled time?

Reason for asking is, that last Sunday managed to finish automating the PC Connect/Disconnect from the WIFI (radio on/off). It's now set to hook up between 23:45 to 24:00 UTC, to flush results and get a new batch. Now the stat updates seem to run at about 00:45 UTC?

On the quick flush and draw, is there anyway a work shortage? Not getting HDC OR FAAH for days now......WCG queue will be fully drained by tonight. Though project weight for WCG is set to 80%, SIMAP is ready to fill the gap and take a large 'debt' on its time allotment. No work available at the 15 minutes of connect a day while away, will cause WCG to loose!

thx

PS I'm not worried about not being able to flush in time, since WCG has a 60 second retry cycle ad infinitum.

The stats updates are taking longer (more members!) so often it has not completed by 00:45.

I am having no trouble drawing work units. Trust your work fetch policy. If I recall correctly, you are using an alpha BOINC, and the work fetch policy has been changed. You should only be concerned if BOINC actually runs out of work.

Re: Have Stat Updates permanently shifted scheduled time?

The part i did not include in the observation is, that the stat page have been accessible just prior to about 00:45 UTC. The global stats page at top showed a last update of 18:06 UTC....overall any stat update looks like starting running late aside the longer....wait until WCG got double the members and see if the 6 hourly can be sustained.....the duration locks members out from e.g viewing the Result Statuses and in circumstance from even signing in to make forum posts.

On work fetch, ......have several debunking comments on that as well, but let me check the facts and comparative behavior first...... like getting daily backfill from SIMAP without that work buffer running out under this x-project BOINC parameter.

Je pense, donc je suis

I can always log in from the Forum Index page, even while stats are running. Perhaps that info could be added to the page that pops up when you attempt login from Home page during stats run.
