I don't think that the VA Hospital is a WiFi hotspot yet -- LOL. I have been thinking about possibly doing some volunteer work there after this is all over with though. I may try to get someone (ie a computer manufacturer or retailer) to donate some PC's to the hospital so that I can set up a PC/Internet room for use by hospitalized veterans and then recruit others to assist me in teaching classes and in staffing the room. I will have to see if I have the energy for a project like this, but it could be an enjoyable retirement activity for me. Just in the thinking stages right now. -- Dave |

Dave,
I have been thinking about possibly doing some volunteer work there after this is all over with though. That sounds like a terrific idea. There are probably a lot of different possibilities to check out. Since you will have to make frequent visits for a while, that sounds like a wonderful way to spend the time in an interesting way. Hi all I'm back !!!
----------------------------------------Looks like my PC lasted all of 3 days unattended. Normal service has been resumed. Glad to be back home - lot's of stories to tell. I'll have to go away more often if when I set off we're 95th and I come back to find we're 57th!!!
