Welcome to the team PohSoon, Graham and Compudude. I just am back from a stay in the hospital and was happy to see that some familiar friends from the forum have joined with us. This stay was only for 3 days and it looks like my system kept on crunching five work units while I was gone. It looks like my system may have to work by itself for a good while unattended as my next step may have me out for nearly 3 months between surgery/hospitalization/extended care and physical therapy. I am out of the hospital to get a second opinion on my condition, but it is very likely that it will confirm what several doctors have advised me during my hospitalization. While I am not diabetic, I have circulatory and neurological problems in my feet and legs that are similar and it is likely that I will undergo a below the knee amputation of my right leg. While it is a bit difficult to face this if it does happen, I will be in a US Veteran's Administration Medical Center, and if anyone should be skilled in amputations and rehab, I suspect that a Veteran's Hospital would be at the top of the list. It will probably be a week before I make my decision and I will let the team know. I will try to have someone check on my system periodically if I am out just to be sure it keeps on crunching.
