Hi, I truely appreciate the mild and kind responses!

Hi,
I usually work the problem but unfortunately sometimes the issues work me over a bit. I had a good laugh over some of the responses, thanks muchly. Retsof, breath mint...it's still funny and thanks for the template. Sekerob, Expletive: When frustration slaps good sense into submission. The responses definitely shows that there is quite a bit of experience supporting the initiatives.

I'm missing something but can't put my finger on it.

The interface sounds like UD.
Yes I was attempting to uses UD.

What project?
I think project is called Defeat Cancer

Linksys router BEFSR41
xDSL
Symantec Corporat 10.1.34 virus checker
Spybot SD
Windows Firewall

What problem?
Agent paused see, www.wcgrid.org/cause.html

What approaches?
Disabled windows firewall=no chg

Ports 443 and 80 are forwarded with default protocols https & http=no chg

Attempted to directly associate ea. port with UD=no chg(chgd back)

Renabled Windows firewall+unplugged linksys=no chg
Made specific exception for UD=no chg
Made exceptions for Port 80 and 443=no chg

For best results with a dual core machine you should migrate to BOINC. It will let you use both cores at once, and should something go wrong it has much better error reporting and logging.

Hi Turbulent, identical solutions are created multiple places next to simultaneously, many a forum participant has proposed the idea of a checklist u just excellently employed, common sense to help raise the support bar / Q&A efficiency. The point was lastly also entered into the Beta thread discussion. It has all-projects validity.....have a read Welcome Re: Welcome to the Beta Test Forum

Beauty is, that one is in direct interaction with the project managers/developers, so hope it sticks.
