Re: 0.00% progress after 17 hours

Credit wouldn't be given normally, but there is a good chance that WCG will be able to award credit retrospectively once all the problem work units and bugs are identified. Don't rely on this, though. It may not be possible to distinguish one failure from another.

Right now, the techs are probably too busy working on fixing the bugs to look into the credit aspect.

Re: 0.00% progress after 17 hours

Well, have aborted 2 HPF2's, the proper way I'm emphasizing, and got points...that's only in UD agent! The proper way has been multiple times described....go to taskmanager and kill the UD_7xxxxxx.exe **. It will then send the interim results back with the invested hours on that WU and fetch a new one of whatever you've enrolled in.

** Never killed WCG_xxxxx.exe, but has been advised as save by the C.A's! Cant though say if that will get you the points confused

This is the BOINC forum, so I assumed we were discussing BOINC. Obviously, the UD credit system is totally different.
