madmac, I have done a little research on your behalf, and I think I have identified the problem.

Most projects are exporting the name as "United Kingdom", but WCG is exporting it as "UNITED KINGDOM". The WCG have had to modify and reimplement a lot of the BOINC member handling and stats to handle the mix of UD and BOINC hosts. This is clearly one of the minor differences that wouldn't normally affect anything, since the meaning is identical.

Unfortunately, BOINC Synergy are treating the country name as case sensitive (a silly thing to do - but an easy mistake to make, when all the other projects export the data the same way).

So, I will bring this to the attention of the WCG techs, and hopefully they will tweak the code for you. What you need to do is contact the folk at BOINC Synergy, and ask them to tweak their code. All the other stats sites have no problem with this, it's just a Synergy issue.
