My PC's internals are outside the box as I had to fit them in my daughter's PC to do a sanity check.
----------------------------------------It screwed up the monitor timings and I was convinced it wasn't posting. I had my raid array fitted upstairs and it worked so then the video card, that worked too. I had to switch off my monitor and back on again and then there it was that lovely BIOS screen phew Because my disk had been on another PC (same MOBO) Windows wanted to be registered again but no connectivity to t'Internet so I had to ring the 0800 number and exchange countless digits. Now on IE7 everything has a certificate error and IE has blocked most things My recommendation Just don't do it and keep crunching Use Firefox and enjoy life Dave ![]() |

Missing root certificates? It can happen, on occassion. There's a patch somewhere.

It's been like this since IE4 when it took over the OS
----------------------------------------It's playing ball now I have restarted the app Consumer beta Nightmare when you can't seem to get your PC to post. At least all of the dust has now gone from the CPU heatsinks. I'd best put back these drives and make that backup again with Ghost Dave ![]() |
