Do you see what I see?

That long promised "remember me" checkbox.

It's not a panacea, but it's a step in the right direction. It should stop the leaks for long enough to allow the techs to get some serious work done.

Let's hear it for the code monkeyspoets! \o/

Re: Do you see what I see?

Well, it certainly screwed up my log-in ... angry

Neither Win & FF or Linux & FF could access the page after I ticked that box this morning.

Had to not only delete the cache but also make a new bookmark before normality was restored. The box remains un-ticked. confused

Sorry, but I ain't the only one who had a problem with this.

oh, IE was fine, but if I could "uninstall IE" I would ... I only use IE for Win' Updates. raised eyebrow

Hi muckshifter,
We are having a server problem this morning: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=7003

After that is fixed, see if it still does not work on your machine.

Re: Do you see what I see?

I had no problems with Firefox.

Still doesn't redirect back to the insecure site, though. It wouldn't be a problem if it was't for the forum and all the javascript links.

This is very likely related to the problems we are having with the servers. FYI - Both nelsoc and I use FireFox as our primary browser so if we are going to miss something that is browser specific it is more likely to be IE then FireFox.

Can you let us know what URL you had bookmarked? That will let us test that once the servers are back to normal and see if there are any problems.

Re: Do you see what I see?

A 'server' problem ... LoL, remind me who makes them again, Dell?

Sorry, but I can't help myself these days, this 'old bugger' just gets more and more sourcaustic (sic) smug

The link is ... http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewMyMemberPage.do

Just my luck with this stuff, although fortunately I just finished posting the stats off and over.

Ticked the box the same time the 'servers' go for coffee break. Would also explain why my Linux could not connect, thought that one strange. laughing

Do the stats servers go for coffee every Sunday a 9am GMT ... always seem to get 'hung-up' around that time too. Just askin' smile

... back to work everybody, chop chop. silly

Due to timing - i.e. you tried Firefox while it was broken and then you tried IE after that. Your post was about 5-10 minutes after I got the failover working properly again so that all users could use the site. Over the course of the morning users have experieinced intermittant problems as we tried this and that.

We just brought all systems back only so please try it out again on IE and FireFox and let us know if you experience any troubles.

thanks,
Kevin
