pause on battery power

hi,
i just had one suggestion about the working of the program that i would like to see. my most used computer is a laptop and i chose this so i can go anywhere in the house to do my stuff.
the problem is, that whenever i unplug to go anywhere in the house for a bit of wirelesscomputing, the program pauses to "conserve power". i would like to see that be an optional function. i have plenty of power and my puter is never far from an outlet and i really would like to see it working whether or not i am plugged in.
thanks
lylah

confused Re: pause on battery power

I couldnt agree more.

Does anyone know of a way to override this?

Maybe future versions allow a min % of battery power option.

There is a 3rd party tool called UD Tweaker which allows you to disable snoozing while on batter power. You can find it here: http://blakenyc77.tripod.com/udtweaker.html

That said, we don't recommend using 3rd party tools to tweak/circumvent how the agent software works. Use at your own risk.

Re: pause on battery power

Was about to post the same suggestion. I agree 100%. Make it optional.

I agree that an optional checkbox should be made - or even given a threshold.

But I do appreciate that the developers took into consideration the laptop generation - and built this feature into the client. It's one less thing I have to worry about when I go mobile for a presentation, troubleshooting, or just to get away from my desk for a while.
